Some Tips for playing the Daily Pick 4 Games

The Daily Pick 4 games are the second easiest of the lottery games to win. Top prize has odds of 1:10,000 and smaller prizes with odds as low as 1:100.

The Pick 4 game is basically a Pick 3 game with an extra set of 10 numbers added to a 4th position. However that simple move has a dramatic effect on your ability to track performance. In the Pick 3 game there are 6 possible ways a 3 digit number can appear. Because of the fourth position with 10 possible numbers, a Pick 4 number with 4 unique digits has 24 possible ways it can appear.
A computer lottery program is highly recommended to assist you in keeping track of sums and overdue pairs.

You do have some very useful Pick 4 tools available to you with just keeping a record of the previous 20 to 25 games. These tools are pairs performance and Pool Depth.

With the Pick 4 game there are as many as 6 different pair combinations to be found in 4 unique digits. By checking the previous 20 to 25 draws you will find that there are at least 2 different pairs in an active cycle. They will repeat themselves just as they do in the Pick 3 game.

Pool Depth however offers more exciting possibilities. Pool Depth is counting back through the previous games how many games back you need to look in order to find the numbers that compose the latest winning draw. As you will note with the chart on the next page, 50 % of winning Pick 4 draws are composed from numbers of the last 5 games or less!

In addition, over 70% of winning numbers contain at least one digit from the previous draw.
IMPORTANT! If your state has 2 drawings a day, you win need to keep track of both games, even if you play just one of them.
